Supported Manufacturers
Vertex isn't limited to AirQo hardware. You can bring in devices from any onboarded third-party sensor manufacturer (such as AirGradient) and manage them alongside your AirQo fleet. In Vertex, each manufacturer is represented as a Sensor Manufacturer.
What You Can Do with a Third-Party Device
- Manage your entire fleet — AirQo and third-party — from a single dashboard.
- Deploy an imported device to a physical Site, the same way you deploy an AirQo device.
- Control public visibility for imported devices the same way, per Cohort.
Checking Which Manufacturers Are Supported
There isn't a fixed list of supported manufacturers — Vertex is onboarding new ones over time. To see which are currently available, open the Sensor Manufacturer dropdown when you import a device or create a Cohort; it's populated live with every manufacturer currently onboarded.
As of this writing, supported manufacturers include:

Request a New Manufacturer
If your manufacturer isn't in the dropdown, you can request it be added.
- While importing a device (Single or Bulk), on the Sensor Manufacturer field, click Can't find your Sensor Manufacturer?
- In the Request New Sensor Manufacturer dialog, your Full Name and Contact Email are pre-filled from your account.
- Enter the manufacturer's Name and Official Email (required), and optionally its Website, Acronym, and a Description of why it should be added.
- Complete the CAPTCHA if prompted, then click Submit Request.
[!NOTE] Your request is reviewed by AirQo before the manufacturer becomes available — it won't appear in the dropdown immediately.
