Add an AirQo Device
Adding a device registers it under your personal or organizational workspace by importing the Cohort your AirQo network support contact assigns to you when your device is transferred to you.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
- The Cohort ID provided by your AirQo network support contact during your device transfer. If you don't have one yet, email integrations@airqo.net to request it.
- Access to the correct workspace — your Personal Workspace, or the right Organization Workspace if adding on behalf of a team.
Steps to Add
- On the My Devices page, click Add AirQo Device.
- Select Import from Cohort.
- Enter the Cohort ID and continue. Vertex verifies the ID and shows the cohort name.
- Confirm the import to add the cohort's device(s) to your assets.
[!NOTE] If you're adding a device on behalf of an organization, ensure you've selected the correct Organization Workspace from the dropdown menu in the top right corner before starting.
What's Next
- Deploy a Device to a Site — Activate the device by linking it to a physical location.
