For Organizations

An Organization Workspace is built for teams that manage a fleet of devices collaboratively — NGOs, governments, and research groups, for example. Unlike a Personal Workspace, devices in an Organization Workspace belong to the organization itself rather than to whoever added them, and multiple team members can access and manage them under different roles.

What You Can Do with an Organization Workspace

  • Coordinate a device fleet: Manage devices deployed across multiple sites and regions from a single workspace.
  • Keep ownership at the org level: Devices stay tied to the organization, not to the individual account that added them, so access isn't lost if someone leaves the team.
  • Delegate work through roles: Invite team members and assign roles so people can manage devices without needing full workspace control.

Getting Started

  1. Switch to your Organization Workspace: Select your organization from the workspace dropdown in the top right corner of Vertex. (If your organization doesn't exist yet, you'll need to initialize it through the AirQo Nexus platform first.)
  2. Invite your team and assign roles from AirQo Nexus: Team management isn't done in Vertex — it's handled on the AirQo Nexus platform. Under your organization's Management section, open Members to invite people by email, and use Roles & Permissions to create roles and control what each person can access. See the AirQo Nexus Roles & Permissions guide for details.

What to Do Next

With your team invited and your workspace configured, you're ready to start managing hardware.
